“Angel Danger” is the real first thought that came to my mind when I saw these two models down the runway. Then I discovered that Prabal Gurung‘s nineth season is all about freedom, and I realized how immediate and unfiltered design can be. I read some critics about the SS13 collection of this Nepalese designer, someone said it was a bit too Nepal-inspired, someother that he’s been too much influenced by other fashion designers and artists…to me it was an outgoing collection! And while the loose fit, the feathers and the white reminds me of an angel, the red brush strokes, the easy fit and the black sunglasses tell me the story of a dangerous girl… is angel/danger the juice of freedom? Tell me your thoughts about this interpretation!
“Angel Danger” é la prima associazione che mi é venuta in mente vedendo queste due modelle lungo la passerella. Poi ho scoperto che la nona stagione di Prabal Gurung parla di libertà, ed ho realizzato quanto il design possa essere immediato e senza filtri. Ho letto alcume critiche circa la collezione PE13 di questo stilista Nepalese, qualcuno dice che si è ispirato troppo al Nepal, qualcun altro parla di influenze troppo evidenti di altri artisti e fashion designer… io ho trovato la collezione ricca di comunicazione! E mentre le vestibilità loose, le piume, ed il bianco ricordano presenze angeliche, le pennellate di rosso, il fit easy e gli occhialoni neri mi parlano di una ragazza pericolosa… angel/danger può essere il “succo” della libertà? Datemi il vostro parere su quest’interpretazione!
