Hello Moodayers! Do you remember my first post about shopping in Milan? Here’s a new suggestion for another place-to-see if you’re in the Italian fashion capital..!
Excelsior Milano is located at number 4 of the famous Galleria del Corso and it’s a big building filled with luxury brands of fashion, beauty and more.
My adventure started at the ground floor as I entered the enchanted word of artisanal perfumery. I had a stop to the Olfattorio Bar where I discovered three fantastic all-natural fragrances:
- “Pure Eve” a romantic allure wrapped in a sweet and delicate vanilla fragrance with an exotic touch, just like a smoochy dinner on the sand…
- “Limon de Cordoza” a fresh and spicy scent that I found “unisex” with a citrus and talcum touch, it’s the typical fragrance that makes everyone think you just got out of the shower!
- “After Midnight” I can only describe it by using the image of a black velvet dress with a plunging neckline and big diamonds on your wrist.. you know, dreamlike.
Right behind my shoulder, an enormous screen showing Moschino’s runways projected me to the next four fashion levels. Here I found, floor after floor, a choice of the best seasonal designer pieces, such as Helmut Lang, Borsalino, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Dries Van Noten, Camila and Marc, Chloé, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, Rick Owens, Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo… and many more.
Apart from the griffes, the things I enjoyed more are:
– the choice they made, for you won’t find any ordinary clothing or accessory.
-the space dedicated to every item, because they stand out as in an artistic exhibit.
As you will see visiting Excelsior Milano, every clothing floor is really simply and cleanly furnished, giving all the attention to the fashion items in a sophisticated atmosphere. Amazing experience!

rdate il mio primo post sullo shopping a Milano? Ecco un nuovo suggerimento se siete nella capitale della moda!
Excelsior Milano si trova al numero 4 della famosa Galleria del Corso ed è una struttura enorme piena di lussuosi brand di moda, bellezza e molto altro..
La mia avventura è iniziata al piano terra subito dopo aver messo piede nell’incantevole mondo della profumeria artigianale. Il mio primo stop è stato al “bar” dell’Olfattorio, dove ho scoperto tre fantastiche fragranze tutte naturali:
-
- “Pure Eve” un’allure romantica racchiusa in una fragranza di vaniglia dolce e delicata, con un tocco esotico, come una cenetta sdolcinata in riva al mare…
- “Limon de Cordoza” un profumo fresco e speziato che si può definire “unisex“, un tocco di agrumi ed uno di talco, è la tipica fragranza che da la sensazione di essere appena usciti dalla doccia!
- “After Midnight” posso descriverlo solo utilizando l’immagine di un abito in velluto nero con una profonda scollatura e grandi diamanti al poIso.. diciamo.. onirico.
Appena dietro le mie spalle, un enorme schermo proiettava le passerelle di Moschino, ed anche me, verso gli altri quattro piani completamente dedicati alla moda. Qui, piano dopo piano, ho scoperto i più interessati articoli
stagionali di designer e brand del calibro di Helmut Lang, Borsalino, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Dries Van Noten, Camila and Marc, Chloé, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, Rick Owens, Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo e moltissimi altri.
Griffes a parte, le cose che ho più apprezzato sono:
– le scelte di stile dei pezzi proposti, perché non c’è assolutamente niente di banale;
-Lo spazio dedicato ad ogni articolo, perchè ogni capo è valorizzato come fosse in una galleria d’arte.
Come vedrete visitando Excelsior Milano, ognuno dei piani dedicati all’abbigliamento è arredato in modo estremamente semplice e pulito, ponendo al centro dell’attenzione gli abiti in un’atmosfera piacevolmente sofisticata. Esperienza favolosa!
